How HPC Credit Union celebrated Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates CU Kind Day 2023:
Animal intake for shelters is at an all-time high, which means the workers and volunteers need to spend more time caring for the animals they take in, paying for more supplies to care for them, and working more days and nights to save neglected and surrendered animals.
This year HPC Credit Union was dedicated to helping out 4 local shelters for CU Kind Day 2023:
Alpena County Animal Control Shelter
Second Chance Animal Shelter
Huron Humane Society of Alpena
We spent time shopping for each shelter individually, spending $750 for each based on their wish list, we spent time cuddling the animals and volunteering where it was needed! We encourage you to check out these shelters if you are looking to add a furry friend to your home, or simply contact them to thank the wonderful staff and volunteers that work tirelessly for animals in need!
