CU Kind Day: Fulfilling Community Needs
This year, for CU Kind Day, our goal was to address specific needs within each community we serve. Collaborating with NEMSCA, we identified opportunities to make a difference. One highlight was our visit to the Oscoda County Council on Aging, where we had the pleasure of distributing 15 grocery gift cards worth $50 each to individuals. It was truly gratifying to hand out these gift cards in person and engage with the facility.
In the Alpena area, we continued our mission to meet community needs for CU Kind Day. NEMSCA brought to our attention the requirement for school supply pantries to support the school success program. We were delighted to shop for each school, filling 10 different pantries with over $1,200 worth of supplies!
A heartfelt thank you to the Michigan Credit Union Foundation for your invaluable support in helping us assist those in need!
